The city witnessed the full-fledged celebs of the city at one place together this Sunday along with the Actor Boman Irani. The founder of Lakshyam NGO, Rashi Anand organized a Fundraising event “Fashion for a Cause” in the association with Prama Jyoti Foundation headed by Mr. Ravi Sharma. The charity show was held to raise funds for underprivileged children on 8th April at Celebration Gardens in Delhi.
The fashion fraternity’s big designers came forward along with the celebrated personalities and corporates of the city for the 6th edition of FFC. The NGO works for the upliftment of children and women through education, employment and resource mobilization.
The fashion show got the sheen when celebrated personalities walked the ramp for the designers like Reynu Taandon, Poonam Bhagat, Vandy Mehra, Payal Jain, Niki Mahajan, Varun Bahl and Payal Bahl.

The Beautiful women looked more gracious than any model on the ramp I have ever seen. Dr. Shikha Sharma (Nutritionist expert), Fitness Expert Vesna Jacob, Dr. Deepika Krishna, Lata Krishnamurthy, Fashion entrepreneur Mallika Jain, Dr. Priyadarshini Jain, Personality Development mentor Rita Gangwani, IAS officer Ira Singhal among many others. The men raid the ramp with their bold and masculine moves. The Photographer Samar Jodha, AIATF Chairman M.S Bitta, LLB Dr. Lalit Bhasin, Business Coach Rahul Jain and few more walked the ramp for the noble cause.
“This year the idea behind the event is to work for the upliftment of our new center in Vasant Kunj which is Sindhi Basti wherein the majority of population is involved in begging and selling toys in traffic signals. The no. of children going to govt. school is just 5% and the basic facilities in the form of where their lives are bare minimum, till the extent they have to buy water for drinking or washing or bathing” says Rashi Anand Founder Lakshyam.
“In the hope to implement the program successfully and to raise enough resources for our beneficiaries, mainly women and children, so that they get to hold a secured future for themselves, we are hosting this show”, says Ravi Sharma from Prama Jyoti Foundation.
