Hey lovelies, out of my writer’s block here I am back to you all with the catch of the day with Ariel India #sharetheload story. We have learnt a lot in the pandemic times and have also learnt at-least one new thing about ourselves and our loved ones. Doing all the household chores by ourselves without house helps was a new interesting challenge which kept us occupied and it also did help in strengthening the family bonds.
The difficult times taught us how to be together and still find our happy place. The hidden talents started coming out. Some of us became chefs, some considered blogging as a serious occupation, some became Youtubers and the biggest commendable change was when we saw both the genders doing the domestic chores together. From sweeping floor-to-doing the laundry my dad was there all the time.
My father is a busy business man who rarely gets time to even look at the household chores. His commitment is stronger to his work but when the lockdown begin it was amusing to witness him volunteering for help. It also brought some unforgettable giggles to our family. It continues to be there and I am glad that this pandemic we all learnt how to share the load.
We assigned duties and took responsibilities of all the chores. It made us realised that its not an easy job and it’s high time we all understand that cleaning and cooking is a basic life skill and not a gender role. My dad used to sweep and put the clothes out in sun along my mom. By sharing the load we didn’t just help mom, it also made her content. Also, it kept us all away from the stress of the pandemic situation.#ShareChoresMultiplyLove #sharethelaundry
Hope you liked my #sharetheload and #sharethelaundry story. Me and my father took the pledge to help my mom throughout. Yes, I will #ShareTheLoad and help in household chores in association with Ariel India and BlogAdda.
Aww this is so sweet and cool. My dad always shares the load too. And he helps my mom with daily chores. It’s important to give that equal hand and to share everything, especially during these hard times.
Such a great campaign …it’s very important to share load. And I always helped my mother with the laundry.
I’m loving your entry for sharetheload challenge by Ariel .
Really great initiative by Ariel. My husband also helps me in doing the household chores.
Sharing is caring and household tasks are not at all gender based. It is great that you have enlisted it so aptly. Kudos to uncle Ji.
Such an amazing initiative by Aerial as its encouraging equality at home too, breaking the stereotype.

We Indians should learn the art of sharing the load. Laundry is not just a gender specific job
It is so good to see you and your dad helping your mom and thus sharing the load in the process. Way to go 👏
Great to see that you divided the responsibilities for a better management. We tried to do the same at home. Sharing is caring, I fell helps in family bonding.
This lockdown has changed the way house chores were looked upon. Everyone has realised its not easy to run n maintin a hse easily n thankfully men too are now helping in House work. My husband is a hands on man who has from the start helped me reduce work load at home be it lockdown or no lockdown.
More home chores are becoming gender neutral. Glad to see you and your dad working together on this one.
