7 Smoothies To Try This Summer Season!

Nothing beats a hot summer day like a big glass of chilled smoothies made out of fresh products. It’s refreshing, energizing and the best way to stay healthy and flaunt that summer bod. So here are a few smoothies for you guys to try this sunny season and stay refreshed and hydrated.

  1. TROPICAL MANGO SMOOTHIE

Summer is here which means it’s mango time and what better way to drink your mango but with a tropical twist to it. All you need is diced mangoes (fresh or frozen for a while), pineapple juice, banana (if you like), freshly squeezed lime juice for that zing, grated ginger and some ice cubes (if you don’t use frozen mangoes). Blitz it all together and you have tropical summer in a glass ready to be sipped in all its glory.
P.S.- For all those who are in a mood to party while trying to “be healthy” add some light rum and there you have an “Adult” Tropical Mango Smoothie ready in no time.

  1. MERRY BERRY SMOOTHIE

I love berries. They are sour, sweet, so pretty looking and soo tasty. Be it strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, mulberry or even goji berry, I love them all. They are bursting with anti-oxidants and a fun way to enjoy all of them together is as a big glass of berry smoothie. You can use fresh or frozen berries and add a frozen banana with just add depth to the texture along with a wealth of potassium to your smoothie. Now that’s how I enjoy my summer and you should try it too.

  1. PINEAPPLE – CITRUS SMOOTHIE

This tropical fruit is your pick when trying to eat healthy and we know orange juice is bae ;). Combine orange juice, little carrot juice, some frozen banana chunks (or soaked chia seeds) and lot of frozen pineapple piece and blend it all together. This golden smoothie tastes like sunshine is a glass and a nutritional knockout to boot. So don’t wait, go blitz..

  1. GRAPE-BERRY SMOOTHIE

Frozen grapes are berries best friend and complement them like peanut butter and jelly. Mix them together with a hint of mint and you have a glass filled with anti-oxidants, vitamin –C, manganese and potassium. So mix ‘em and sip ‘em.

  1. WATERMELON SMOOTHIE

If you are a watermelon person, this smoothie is your got-to. It’s frozen, sweet yet zingy and healthy. All you need to do it take frozen watermelon cubes, coconut water or just water, maple syrup, lemon juice, banana (again optional) and if you are a spicy maniac like me, then a pinch of cayenne pepper or the good old chat masala and then blend them all in a high speed blender until frosty. Pour them out in a fancy glass and enjoy.

(Add your favorite alcohol and get the party started. )

  1. STRAWBERRY, MANGO AND YOGURT SMOOTHIE

Nothing beats a fresh seasonal fruit smoothie and summer time calls for some delicious mango ones. So here’s another amazing sweet and tangy smoothie that is healthy, guilt free and totally easy to make. All you need is apple juice, frozen strawberries, mango chunks and low fat yogurt and just whip this frosty treat.

  1. MINTY FRESH SMOOTHIE

When kiwi and mint come together, it’s a blast of freshness and a glass full of goodness. Just blitz kiwi, chopped mint and honey with ice-cold water and ice cubes (if you like) and you have got yourself a sweet treat that will refresh your soul. It’s also a good source of fiber with a good amount of vitamin C. Now who said staying healthy is boring 😉
